How the EPS-TOPIK schedule works in Nepal
In Nepal the EPS-TOPIK is run by the EPS Korea Section of the Department of Foreign Employment together with HRD Korea. Applications open first; the test dates are published after applications close, in a notice on the EPS Nepal website.
The 2026 round is a points-based selection round and is taken as a UBT (a computer-based test) at the UBT Hall inside the National Vocational Training Institute in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur. Candidates are tested sector by sector: Service, Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock first, then Manufacturing, which has the most candidates and runs over several blocks into February 2027. Each day has up to five shifts.
Your own date, shift and time are on your admit card and in the shift lists published with the notice. The table above shows the range for each sector; use the countdown to track your own date.
The two days around your test
The notice sets out two appointments, and missing either means you cannot take the test:
- The day before your test, go to the EPS Korea Section in Gwarko, Lalitpur at your shift time for biometric (fingerprint) registration.
- On test day, arrive at the UBT Hall in Bhaisepati two hours before your test for biometric verification. There is an orientation one hour before the start.
Bring your colour admit card and your passport (and your old passport too if it has been renewed). Phones, smart watches, electronic dictionaries and bags are not allowed in the hall. Anyone caught cheating or copying has their test cancelled and is barred from the test for four years.
Using the time you have
The EPS-TOPIK has a reading section and a listening section, both on screen. With a few weeks left, the most useful thing you can do is sit full timed practice tests in the same format, then go back over every wrong answer, especially in listening.
